Our Team Aruba ladies are on their way to compete in the Billie Jean King Cup (BJKC) in Panama

The tournament will be held July 17-22. The format of the tournament will have two groups of five teams, where the top 2 in each group cross over in promotion playoffs. The teams participating are: Antigua & Barbuda, Aruba, Barbados, Bermuda, Cuba, El Salvador, Jamaica, Panama, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands.
 
Meet the team:
Kayla Solagnier: Making her second BJKC appearance representing Aruba with a 2-3 record. Junior in college and earned a scholarship to play NCAA D2 tennis for Nova Southeastern University in Florida. 
 
Danna Nuñez: Making her second BJKC appearance representing Aruba with a 1-3 record. Junior in college and earned a scholarship to play NAIA D2 tennis for Ave Maria University in Florida.
 
Jelsyvette Kaylyn Croes: Making her second BJKC appearance representing Aruba with a 1-3 record. Sophomore in college and earned a scholarship to play NCAA D2 tennis for Palm Beach Atlantic University in Florida. 
 
Tanisha Hodgson: Making her first BJKC appearance. Graduated and played NCAA D1 tennis at University of Massachusetts Amherst ’11. 
 
Captain Jonathan Goitia: Captains the BJKC Team for the second year in a row. Coaches at the Aruba Racquet Club. 
 
Good luck to our ladies and Coach Johnny (who will be meeting them in Panama!
