ORANJESTAD – Paseo Herencia is thrilled to announce a new initiative aimed at empowering and nurturing the potential of young talents – the Gift of Sports. This is Paseo’s second sponsorship program in addition to the Gift of Education that has been in place since 2015.
Gift of Sports (NEW)
The Gift of Sports is a new program – set to support young athletes aged 12 and above to excel in their chosen sports. Paseo Herencia recognizes the dedication and passion young athletes pour into their training and competitions. Through this program, Paseo Herencia will provide sponsorships for international competitions, granting financial assistance to cover expenses associated with participating in prestigious events. This support aims to unlock doors of opportunity, enabling young athletes to compete on a global stage and gain invaluable experiences that will shape their sporting careers. Paseo Herencia envisions a future where these budding sports stars will earn a coveted spot on the Wall of Rising Stars, prominently displayed at the Paseo Herencia mall. This dedicated wall is reserved for showcasing only the TOP athletes who have earned remarkable titles on the international stage, serving as an inspiration for generations to come.
Gift of Education
Paseo Herencia recognizes the crucial role that education plays in shaping the future of our youth and society. Many talented students possess the drive and potential to excel academically, but they may face financial barriers that hinder their progress.
The Gift of Education program addresses this concern by providing financial assistance to talented students, assisting with school expenses. By easing financial burdens, the program empowers these young minds to focus on their studies and unlock their full potential. The vision is to create a pathway for these scholars to flourish academically and achieve their academic aspirations. Paseo Herencia has started with this program 8 years, sponsoring 10 students every year.
Application Process
Applicants or parental guardian must submit a motivation letter outlining their academic ambitions and aspirations and why they should be chosen for this program. Applicants are also requested to include a copy of their latest report card to demonstrate their dedication to their studies and also to fill out an application form which is available on our website www.paseoherencia.com or a physical copy is available at the Paseo Herencia office.
Applications for both programs are open until August 18th, 2023.
