Aruban artistic swimmer Kyra Hoevertsz has concluded a remarkable 2025 World Cup season with a 4th place overall finish in the World Aquatics Artistic Swimming World Cup – Women’s Solo category, narrowly missing a podium spot but firmly establishing herself among the world’s elite.

Competing across four international stops — Paris (France), Somabay (Egypt),
Markham (Canada), and the Super Final in Xi’an (China) — Hoevertsz delivered
consistently strong performances in both Solo Technical and Solo Free routines, judged
on difficulty, execution, and artistic impression.
Her standout performances were rewarded with two bronze medals during the season:
Solo Free – Paris, France

Solo Free – Markham, Canada

These podium finishes contributed to her impressive 4th place overall ranking and
underscore her strength, artistry, and dedication in an increasingly competitive global
field.
“Kyra’s achievements this season are a testament to her resilience, talent, and the
growth of artistic swimming in Aruba,” said a spokesperson for Aruba Aquatics. “She
continues to inspire a new generation of athletes across the region.”
Kyra Hoevertsz has represented Aruba extensively on the International stage and
continues to elevate Aruba’s profile in aquatics. Her 2025 World Cup campaign highlights not only her personal journey but also the rise of Caribbean representation in the sport.
With the World Cup season behind her, Hoevertsz now returns to Aruba to begin
preparations for the 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Singapore, taking place in
July, where she will once again compete among the world’s top soloists.
