Aruba will host the inaugural International Aerial Arts Organization World Championships on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Centro Deportivo Libertador Betico Croes.
Athletes from Aruba, the United States and Australia will compete across multiple aerial disciplines, including silks, hoop, hammock, sling, and specialty apparatus categories.
Organized locally by Club di Movimiento and Aerial Dance and Performance Aruba together with USAAO United States Aerial Arts Organization, the championship will open to the public at 7:30 a.m., followed by an official ceremony at 8:15 a.m.
Competition begins at approximately 8:30 a.m.
This first‑ever world championship in Aruba provides an important international platform for local aerial athletes and offers the community a chance to experience the artistry and athleticism of aerial sports at a global level.
